IMG Investment and Marketing Company Saxony-Anhalt
An important partner at the national level is the IMG Investment and Marketing Company Saxony-Anhalt. On the initiative of the IMG, the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Saxony-Anhalt joined the 6 Astonishing together. Evidence from over 7000 years of German and European history has been preserved in a unique density. Garden landscapes from the Age of Enlightenment, picturesque old towns from the Middle Ages, architectural milestones - the cultural heritage in Saxony-Anhalt is large and diverse.

Launched in 1993, the Romanesque Route brings together unique monuments of medieval architecture, including Merseburg Cathedral and Naumburg Cathedral. Since 2007, it has been networked throughout Europe and is part of the European Cultural Route designated by the Council of Europe. TRANSROMANICA, recognised by the European Council, which links Romanesque buildings in Saxony-Anhalt, Austria, Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, Romania and Serbia.
In the Merseburg cathedral cloister, moreover, the European Romanesque Centre has its seat. Its tasks include regional and European research and communication of the many aspects of the Romanesque era.
