From historical contexts, some of which date back hundreds of years, the
dating back, the Combined Cathedral Chapter have an extensive portfolio of properties.
In addition to listed properties at the three locations in Merseburg, Naumburg and Zeitz, this also includes 360 hectares of leased agricultural land, 245 hectares of watercourses and nature conservation areas in Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony.
The rental and leasing income supports the foundation budget of the Combined Cathedral Capter and ensures the maintenance of the properties. Thanks to extensive funding projects, some of the foundation's own properties have been repaired and renovated and thus put back into use.
The arable land of the Combined Cathedral Chapter is largely farmed by cooperatively organised farms from the region.
When renting out our flats, we attach great importance to a partnership relationship with our tenants and take care of the property management and the organisation of all work around the properties ourselves.
The watercourses and nature and landscape conservation areas are preserved and maintained by us; they are also partly available to the general public for recreational purposes.
We will publish offers to rent or lease properties of the Combined Cathedral Chapter here.
If you have any questions or suggestions regarding our property management, our Abbey Treasurer will be happy to help.
